Product Information and Maintenance Guide for Genuine Rattan Furniture
Section 1: Natural Characteristics of Authentic Rattan (Normal Occurrences, Not Defects)
1. Unique Colors and Patterns: Authentic rattan naturally features a beautiful blend of light and dark tones intertwined within each strand, showcasing its true organic beauty.

2. Natural Surface Scuffs: Minor scuffs or surface markings on the rattan strands are normal characteristics of authentic natural materials. These are not product defects and do not affect the structural integrity, strength, or durability of the furniture.

3. Dark Spots, Nodes, and Greenish Tones: Authentic rattan may naturally feature dark spots, distinct nodes, or interspersed green strands. These variations are completely normal and are considered the true hallmarks of 100% genuine rattan.

4. Weave Joints and Overlaps: Due to the finite length of individual natural rattan strands, woven panels will inherently feature connection points, splices, or overlapping strands. This is a natural physical limitation of the material, not a manufacturing defect.

5. Natural Fibers and Texture Variations: The surface of authentic rattan may exhibit slight fraying or fine protruding fibers. This subtle tactile texture is a completely normal characteristic of natural organic fibers.

6. Natural Splitting or Fiber Separation: Minor splits or fiber separation along the rattan strands may occasionally be observed. This naturally occurs due to tension during the bending and weaving processes of organic fibers. It is a standard characteristic and does not affect the structural integrity of the furniture.

7. Front and Back Surface Variations: The front side of the rattan features a smooth surface with a natural sheen, whereas the reverse side presents a matte, more textured finish where natural fibers are more tactile. This contrast is a standard physical characteristic of woven rattan sheets.

Section 2: Natural Changes Over Time (What to Expect)
1. Natural Relaxation of the Woven Panel: Over time, the woven rattan sheet may naturally stretch and occasionally slip from the spline groove or frame edge. This condition depends on the duration of use, weight load, and everyday usage habits.

2. Natural Patina and Color Changes: With regular use, authentic rattan will undergo natural color variations. The tone may deepen, develop a richer sheen, or gracefully show signs of natural aging over the material’s lifespan.

Section 3: Care and Maintenance Guidelines
Proper care and maintenance will significantly extend the lifespan of your genuine rattan furniture while preserving its natural beauty for years to come.
1. Avoid Direct Sunlight and Heat: Do not place the furniture in direct sunlight or areas with continuous high heat. Prolonged exposure can cause the rattan fibers to dry out, become brittle, and darken at an accelerated rate.
2. Proper Cleaning Methods: We recommend using a feather duster for regular dusting. Avoid wiping with cloths (especially rough towels) to prevent the fabric from snagging on natural fibers. Refrain from vigorous scrubbing, as it may exacerbate fraying at the weave joints.
3. No Harsh Chemicals: Strictly avoid cleaning agents containing alcohol or strong acidic/alkaline substances. These harsh chemicals will damage the structural integrity of the rattan and strip away its natural color.
4. Moisture and Weight Prevention: Avoid placing the furniture in damp or humid areas to prevent mold growth. Additionally, refrain from applying excessive and repetitive weight to a single area, as this can cause structural deformation over time.
Section 4: Rattan Panel Material Options
To perfectly suit a variety of spaces, we currently offer two woven panel options for you to choose from: Genuine Rattan and Synthetic Rattan.
Our Synthetic Rattan Sheets are crafted from high-quality materials such as PVC or PE, offering exceptional resistance to moisture and sunlight. Available in a diverse range of colors and patterns, these synthetic options are effortless to clean and highly durable, making them ideal for both indoor and outdoor environments.
